Take Life by the Horns

Step 1
Write down five things that you want to accomplish in life. Plan to start working towards one immediately.

Step 2
Jott down three things that you always wanted to do but were afraid to try. Figure out what is making you hesitant.

Step 3
Sing in the shower. Don't worry if anyone else hears you.

Step 4
Wake up early. Benjamin Franklin claimed waking up early makes a man "healthy, wealthy and wise." Life will pass you by if you sleep in late. Get up, get out and get moving.

Step 5
Don't waste valuable time. Use every spare minute you can find. Learn a new language while standing in line or commuting to work. Read a book while waiting at the doctor's office.

Step 6
See the ocean, mountains or some other form of nature. Our perspective on life changes for the better when we take some time to appreciate nature's beauty.

Step 7
Call up an old friend or relative you lost contact with just to say "hello." Take life by the horns by not living in the past. Don't let old disagreements ruin your future chance at friendship.

Step 8
Don't live your life with regrets. Tackle whatever it is that you've always wanted to do whether it is writing a novel, climbing a mountain or visiting Europe.

Step 9
Embrace each day and make each moment count.
