Is Macritchie that huge or have I lost my way ?
I went there deliberately to do some photoshooting thus it explain the motivational strength to wake up @ 6am. We started our routing anti-clockwise which is approx 12km with Mikael, Feng, Sal , Karen & her friend.
I split up with them shortly less than a mins ... that's obvious ...
Walking alone can be quite scary yea ...or perhaps I've been watching too much thriller movie... -_-'' There's this man who ran toward me and happen to step on a sharp brunches; it just fly across me, 1cm away from chest. The scenes of those thriller movie trigger my mind instantly like... how am i going to die ? is that a hint before dying ?! If you have been watching Final Destination, you'll get what I mean.... hahahah 5 mins later, I sense mass of rock moves quickly downslope , this man weighting easily 80kg fell down right behind me ... Okay ... I'm still pondering how am i going to die .. haha
Toward 9km ... ''JERMINE'' ?! okay ?! what's now ?! is 7th month and who the hell called mi in the daylight ?! *%(&^$%&^ Oh .. is my another grp of classmates, they started their routing clockwise an hour later from us and was approaching their 3km.. They saw me and I knew ''THAT'S IT'' ! how long more can I finish it ! I'm desperate for a can of 100plus ! Awww
They convinced me to tour Tree Top Walk which the walkway is free-standing suspension bridge spanning Bukit Peirce and Bukit Kalang, the two highest points in MacRitchie, 25m above the ground. what really caught my attention is that she mentioned that is only 1.4km away from the ending point.
Trust me ! trust me ! come on... lets move ... ''Anne exclaimed'' Alrighhhhtttt...I muttered , looking at my 1/4-filled water bottle.. Tree top walk was quite cool, it gives you a closer look of the canopy... 2 hours later Anne!! , I was standing right here 2 hours ago , why do i return to the same spot ?! Anne kept quiet and hope that there a hole to sallow her up...
So that's how I ended up finishing my walk for 7 hours... Boo !
